Joslyn Qualifies for Olympic Trails at the Mardi Gras Marathon
New Orleans, Louisiana - Former SUNY Cortland standout distance runner Fred Joslyn won the Rock 'n' Roll Mardi Gras Marathon in New Orleans on Sunday, Feb. 13. He finished in 2:18:45, more than seven minutes ahead of his nearest competitor. Also in the race was SUNY Cortland alum and Corvallis, Oregon resident, Seamus Nally. Nally's debut marathon netted him a 9th place finish and a time of 2:32:22. The race featured over 1,700 men's entries.

Boston, Massachusetts – Senior Gino Bisceglia broke his own school record in the 400-meter dash and ran the anchor leg on a school record-
setting 4x400-meter relay as Cortland competed at the Boston University Valentine Invitational. Bisceglia's 400m time automatically qualifies him for the Division III Indoor Track National Meet in March. Later that day the record-setting relay team of Eric Banks, Zac Farnham-Haskell, Stephan Linton, and Bisceglia reached a NCAA provisional time.
